The holidays are often filled with moments of gorging ourselves with delicious foods while connecting with friends and family.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that! So please enjoy yourself and meet yourself with compassion.

If you're feeling overly full, take some time to go out for a walk or move in a mindful fashion. One of my favorite things over the holidays is to go out into the countryside and go for a walk with my family. To me this connection with family and nature is high up on my favorite holiday moments. (Especially if we can get a little snow in there, too!)

Another good way to aid digestion is through self massage. So, here is a fun little belly massage to help you digest the delicious food (if you’re anything like me, that means a LOT!) that you may have been eating over the holidays.
