Spring is an act of celebration, so celebrate yourself!

Spring is always such a great season to check in with yourself and notice all you’ve accomplished. It’s like the flowers start opening and showing off their colorful petals and I start feeling like I should be doing the same. Look at how far I’ve come, look at what I’ve done!

It’s so easy to get caught up in the negative, in the dark and the dreary, but it’s incredibly important to recognize the positive and celebrate its light and beauty. So just like the flowers coming out and celebrating the warmer weather, come out and celebrate yourself, dear friend.

Take a moment right now, maybe get out a pen and paper and write down THREE things you have done lately that you can celebrate. It can be absolutely anything. Seriously. Anything.

If you want to celebrate the fact that you are still alive and well, do it. If you want to celebrate the fact that you dropped the ball but then picked it up again, do it. If you want to celebrate a day when you did a little meditation or mindful movement, do it. If you want to celebrate the fact that you asked for support when you needed it, do it. If you want to celebrate a win at work, do it. Whatever they may be, write them down.

Now take a moment to reflect on those awesome things you have done. And CELEBRATE! 🎉

There are so many different ways to celebrate, but I’ll give you one of my favorites.

Dance Party!

And there is nothing wrong with that dance party being you putting on some tunes wherever you are (living room, bedroom, car, park, etc) and having a little boogie by yourself.

I had my own celebration and dance party this morning, celebrating accomplishments I’m proud of. One of the songs I danced to?

Such an amazing song to have a celebration dance to.

If you haven’t done it yet, go write down at least three things you’ve done and celebrate them.
