Happy Spring and Happy International Day of Happiness!!🌈

I’ve done a thing that makes me very happy. Well I should say myself and my sister-in-law, Sarah Finnegan, have done a thing that makes us very happy.

Something we’ve been working on and planning for some time and we wanted to time the release of it today, the International Day of Happiness!

We started a podcast!

The Happy Edit

So, what’s it about? In the podcast we’ll be diving into ways we can increase happiness in our lives in tangible ways looking at it through various lenses. Happiness isn't just being happy, it's an embodied feeling that starts with how we approach life, our actions and our mindset. We’ll also be bringing on other professionals from different modalities to share their insights on happiness with you, too!

Sarah and I often spend our time together chatting about mental health and how best to support our clients in a holistic fashion. It's not uncommon for the family to roll their eyes at us slowly inching away as we get sucked into whatever topic we’ve decided is most interesting that day.

Sarah is an accredited person centered counsellor, cognitive behavioral therapist and systemic family practitioner... so she knows her stuff.

A few months ago, while engrossed in one of our many conversations, this time about tools we could use to increase happiness, we joked that it was podcast material—and listeners probably would enjoy our conversations more than our family!

And then that joke… well it’s become reality.
