To Meditate or Not to Meditate & Other Goals
Tess Jewell-Larsen | APR 19, 2022
I had two goals for March:
1) hold a 5-minute meditation every day on Instagram Live, and
2) get some of my writing published.
I accomplished both! And I am incredibly proud of myself.
It's been a long time since I wrote anything for a professional publication and I wasn't entirely sure what I should write, I just knew I wanted to write something. Well, throughout the month of daily Live meditation, I had a fair few people tell me that meditation wasn't their thing, they couldn't get into it, or they didn't think it was right for them. (And I'd like to point out here, that in being consistent with one goal it help me achieve the other!)
Thus my first published article—and my first article about the world of Yoga—in years came about:
If you've ever thought to yourself, meditation isn't for me because...
Then I'd love for you to head on over to Elephant Journal, read the article, and then get back to me. Did I convince you to give it a try? Do you agree/disagree with any or all of the points I make?
Send me an email or write me a message in the comment box below to share your thoughts with me!
