Recently I have noticed many people around me flagging, fatigued and just ready for some time off in the summer. But, how do we support ourselves, give ourselves a bit more energy to finish things up and also enjoy our time (as best we can) before then?

This month in the Facebook group, Yoga for Pandemic Fatigue, Stress, Anxiety & Long COVID, each week I’ll be diving into accessible tools we can use to help support ourselves when we’re feeling fatigued.

I know you be thinking that rest is the only way to reduce fatigue and "I don't have time to rest". But the truth is, while rest is very important for when we’re fatigued, and there are good ways of building accessible moments of rest into our lives, rest not the only factor in improving and managing fatigue.

What are some of the tools?

  • Rest
  • Pacing
  • Mindful Movement
  • Mindful Breath
  • Spending time in Nature
  • Giving yourself grace
  • Having Fun
  • Asking for Support

Which of the above tools do you tend to use most when you’re feeling fatigued? Are there any you’re like, ‘Um… what?’?

If you are a bit confused about any of these tools, or want to learn more, you're in luck because we'll dive into them in the facebook group over the next four weeks!
