Last 90 Days: It's Time To Stop Feeling Stressed

Yesterday I was was told that there were 90 days left in 2022.

Which means that there are only 89 days left as of today. Um... what!?

The person asked me, "What do you want to accomplish? How do you want to feel?"

And I took a moment to really ponder that.

We are approaching one of the busiest and most stressful times of year. I personally want to sail through these last 89 days feeling joyful, light and excited for whatever comes up.

And so the next question that needs to be asked is: How are you going to do take care of yourself physically and mentally?

Most people know they get super stressed around the holidays, but year after year, they find it difficult to do anything different. I also have been known to get caught in this cycle as well, it’s a pretty common thing!

So perhaps we all should consider...

  • setting boundaries with family/friends/work
  • creating and maintaining self-care routines such as consistent exercise, mindful movement and breath work
  • developing a meditation and mindfulness practice

Most of us are busy putting others first (our family, our friends, our colleagues at work), but that can lead to us quickly burning out or feeling resentful.

We can make the radical decision to put ourselves first so that we can be fully present with others. And now is the time.

I'm biased, of course, but I think yoga (in all its forms: awareness, mindful movement, breath work, meditation…) is a great tool for taking care of yourself physically and mentally.

For nine weeks, between October 20th and December 15th, I’m offering an online series designed to help you do just that:

Throughout those nine weeks we’ll use our breath, movement, awareness and other self-care techniques to relieve and manage stress.

The sessions will be kept small so that they are personalized to you. This intimate group setting will also allow for us to create a supportive community and after each weekly 60min session I will hold space for you to chat and connect to others from around the world. Relaxed, social interaction is an important part of de-stressing.

You don’t need any fancy equipment, or experience with yoga, and you’re more than welcome to join in your PJs.

Let’s take back these last 89 days from stress-filled days to living lighter, more energetic and joyful!
