Did you know that today is International Mental Health Day? And because of that I wanted to talk to you a little about mindset shifts and I want to share quote from the author, James Clear:

Whether you are new to yoga or mindfulness or are a regular practitioner, you've probably had aches and pains both physically and mentally that you've turned to your practice to help support you.

However, if your attention is focused on what you can't do or your problems, it can be difficult to take advantage of all the things you CAN do and everything about you that is powerful, strong and resilient.

Your beliefs about yourself can influence how you process pain, so pay attention to the thoughts you have about yourself. Mindset matters.

And remember it's okay not to be okay. If you need extra support please reach out to friends, family or a professional. You are worthy and deserve all the support you need to reach your fullest potential.

If stress is overloading you there are things you can do to support yourself. I have a 9 week Yoga for Stress Busting series starting on October 20th. We'll meet once a week to discuss and practice different tools you can take into your daily life to reduce the weight and strain of stress on your body and mind. Learn to manage your stress in a accessible and supportive environment.
