I want to hold an honest moment here with you today.

I totally dropped the ball on sending out my newsletter last week. I realized at around 11pm last Monday that I COMPLETELY forgot about writing it and sending it out to you. I can make all the excuses, but the truth is, I 100% forgot. And I’d love to know, if you're on my newsletter, did you even notice?

So often we worry that if we drop a ball that life is going to come crashing down around us. The reality is though, most of the time the world keeps going and hasn’t even noticed. And here we are freaking out in our head, “I FAAAAAAAILED!”

You didn’t fail. It was an “oops” moment. Accept it as it is, learn from it and move on.

If you dropped the ball because you have too much on your plate and it’s taking its toll on you, take a moment to think about your situation and evaluate your priorities. Assess your workload and determine what tasks are necessary and what can be delegated, put aside for the moment or eliminated completely.

Here’s my suggestion when it comes to prioritizing on a daily basis:

Pick 3 Most Important Tasks (MITs for short) like...

✅ 1 MIT for your work

✅ 1 MIT for yourself (move, rest, socialize)

✅ 1 MIT for your family/friends/work

Picking 3 MITs reduces the feeling of overwhelm, it encourages us to prioritize what is really important, and it helps us feel productive. Why more productive? Because by the end of the day, you're more likely to be able to tick all three tasks off!

Have you had an “oops” moment lately? What happened? I’d love to hear your experiences with this!

If you are ever feeling the toll, and don’t know where to even start when it comes to evaluating your priorities and creating sustainable boundaries, please don’t hesitate to reach out and book a free 30-min call with me!
