The 5 day, 5 Minutes of Rest to De-Stress challenge has kicked off today!!
This challenge is near and dear to me because I know how much stress can kick my butt when I let it overwhelm me. I’ve found that by taking short, yet consistent, breaks can really help me reduce the weight of stress on my mind and body.
This morning I was working on sanding and re-staining our outside table we have on the terrace. We try to be sure to do this every year because not only does it keep the table looking beautiful but it helps it last longer and keeps it from rotting out.
We are the same as my lovely terrace table, we need to consistently do things to support ourselves so that we can continue to do what we love, support those we love, and feel good, physically and mentally.

That’s why I set this challenge up, so we can turn the tables on stress! (Like what I did there?) I can’t wait to get started!
