Why We Should Practice Gratitude
Tess Jewell-Larsen | JUL 18, 2022

Lots of studies have shown that mindfully giving gratitude is really good for our overall wellbeing. Cultivating gratitude brings us happiness, reduces anxiety and depression. It’s good for us physically and mentally. And the more you do it, the more consistently you fit gratitude into your life, the better it is.
Acknowledging and connecting with gratitude can be an incredible game-changer for our outlook on life, and how we approach and respond to things around us.Benefits of consistent cultivation of gratitude (as shown by research):
I invite you to take a moment every day this week to write down what you’re grateful for. The longer periods of time we consistently give gratitude, the better the results are!
This week in the Yoga for Pandemic Fatigue, Stress, Anxiety and Long COVID Facebook group, I’m inviting people to take a moment every day this week to give gratitude to something in their life. It doesn’t have to be big things, even just “I’m grateful for a sunny day” can be helpful.
If you wish to join me this week in the Facebook group for daily gratitude accountability, I’d love to have you share what you’re grateful for! And if you just want the accountability but don’t want to share, you’re more than welcome to do that, too.
