This beautiful little town is called, Luanco (or Lluanco in Asturian). It’s lovely old fishing and whaling port located almost smack dab in the center of the Asturian coast and is the closet town the most northern point of Asturias.

Warrior I (Virabhadrasana I) is a standing pose that helps build stability, focus and power. The pose stretches the front of the body while building strength in the legs, core and back.

The pose originated from the Bhagavad-Gita in a dialogue between two feared and famous warriors, Krishna and Arjuna. The pose commemorates the “spiritual warrior” who bravely battles self-ignorance (avidya), the ultimate warrior and source of all our suffering.

Contraindications: People with high blood pressure and heart problems should be careful and modify this pose as necessary. If you have shoulder problems, try keeping your arms raised parallel or slightly parallel to each other. If you have neck problems, keep your neck in a neutral position and don’t look at your hands.
