Here's a statement that I'm sure you can identify with:
You were dumped into a world that you were not prepared for starting in 2020 and these last couple years have been tough.
But the good news? You are here to talk about it!!
You figured out Zoom/Google Meet/Microsoft Teams.
You figured out how to be inventive and creative when you couldn’t get the same foods/supplies that you usually bought before.
You figured out how to do yoga at home, using blankets, scarves, tin cans, etc. instead of at a studio.
You started doing more activities outside, instead of going to stores, cinemas, etc.
And that my friend is what a pandemic can do for us: push us to learn things that we didn’t think we’d ever need to know or do.
While not a single one of us wants this to continue and we certainly wish it had never happened, we have to look for the silver lining.
Just I often say in the my classes:
We need to embrace this about the tough situations we are living right now, as well. And one way that people are doing this is by taking this opportunity to learn something new.
